Imagine waking up one morning in the Victorian Era; What would the day consist of? How would you get to school? What would you wear to school? What lessons would you have? What would you do after school?

We will be exploring these ideas in class and look forward to hearing what you and your families think Victorian life was like compared to what children do today.

    I have enjoyed learning about the Victorians and how they used to live. My favourite was going on the walk around Long Eaton.

    I think my life would be terrible if I lived in victorian times because my teacher would be mean and if I was sick there wouldn’t be proper medicine

    I think I probably wouldn’t have gone to school and I would have had to go to work.

    I would not have gone to school because I would not want to be hit by the cane, but I would not like the alternative of working as a chimney sweep……..
