Do all colours look the same?

Callum: No because everything looks different such as pink and red. Pink and red are different because you can get a pink flamingo but not a red one!

Zara: No because blue and purple kind of look the same but purple is darker.

Daniel: Yes and no because you can get light blue and dark blue and they still make the same colour such as the river.

    Do we look the same?

Callum: Me and Miss Swann do not look the same because we are different sizes and we have different eye colour.

Pearl: No because we wear different clothes.

Leah: We have all got eyes, ears and a nose but they are different shapes and colours.

Leighton: All children in the class have hair but we have got different hair styles.

What colour could we live without?
Austin – we could live without black because it’s not very important.
What about the skeletons and witches costumes at Halloween ?
Then the people with black hair and the darkness of night.
Ava – if we lived without black we wouldn’t have a tv.
Olivia – white because you can’t even colour with white and the papers white and it’s got no colour.

Carter – brown colour because people don’t really use brown colour.
Georgia – but you wouldn’t have hot chocolate.
Harry – you wouldn’t even have chocolate.

Neveah – yellow because it’s too bright.

We can live without yellow because it’s too bright! We could have purple instead- a purple sunshine and purple sun flowers!

I agree Isla, yellow can be too bright, I would love to see a purple sun! Would you like it if we lived in a purple world?

Not all colours look the same, but some are the same like blue and dark blue. Some colours are made by mixing two colours like red and blue making purple.
Eddy doesn’t want to live without any colours- he thinks they are all beautiful especially when they make a rainbow.

People look different because they have different colour skin and hair and eyes. Sometimes people look the same like twins, and Eddy sometimes looks like his brother Theo and his mummy.

Wow fantastic Eddy! All colours are beautiful and have a meaning.

Eddy says red is his favourite colour because he loves red turnmites! Can you think of anything else that is red?
