Our theme  for the Summer Term is ‘I wonder how we can Spring into Summer?’ We will begin by sharing some of our ideas and then together look at ways we can find out more about the changes in our environment and also all the different minibeasts that we see around us. We will be looking at changes that occur during the Spring and also the life cycles of caterpillars and frogs. Our Big Talk homework will follow these weekly themes, and activities and learning will develop from, and link to, these themes wherever possible. We shall use the structure of the story by Michael Rosen “We’re going on a Bear Hunt” but change it to “We’re going on a Minibeast Hunt” to discover how important different creepy crawlies are in ensuring the natural habitation of our environment.
